As our Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in protecting Perkbox’s digital estate. You’ll lead investigations, manage our security tooling, and work cross-functionally to keep our infrastructure secure, compliant, and future-ready. Alongside hands-on analysis, you’ll provide strategic insight and act as a mentor for junior team members, helping shape a forward-thinking security culture across the business.Lead incident response for breaches, malware attacks, root cause analysis, and recoveryMonitor threat feeds and correlate intelligence with tooling to identify emerging risksOversee vulnerability management and assess remediation effectivenessCollaborate with IT, DevOps, and GRC to align security efforts with business goalsManage and refine configurations for our security tools, and recommend new solutionsMaintain clear and comprehensive documentation for incidents and investigationsContribute to the ongoing development of our cybersecurity strategyPromote best practices and awareness across the wider organisationStay ahead of cyber threats, ensuring zero-day vulnerabilities are discovered and actioned quicklyOwn the planning and execution of our annual penetration testing activityQualifications

Experience using vulnerability scanning tools and remediating software/hardware issuesA solid understanding of both automated and manual penetration testingHands-on experience identifying, testing, and mitigating system vulnerabilitiesA strong grasp of threat intelligence and incident response processesA broad variety of technical skills across cyber security, covering network, web app, and end user devicesA decent working knowledge of AWS, Route 53, and modern micro-service architectureA collaborative mindset, with the ability to explain technical risks to non-technical audiencesLogical and lateral problem-solving skillsCalmness under pressure and the ability to multitask effectively across projectsBonus points if you bring:Confidence presenting cyber security concepts to broader teamsA self-starter attitude with strong research instinctsA natural flair for mentoring or sharing knowledgeWhy Perkbox?

Our interview process involves 4 main stages: Application, short call with a member of the TA team, 30-minute video call with the Hiring Manager, and final interview and technical assessment with the Hiring Manager, members of the Tech team, and our GRC Director.
