This building services design consultancy has a requirement in their Power Systems team, giving you the chance to working on a huge range of projects and further your design career!
If you have experience working in Power Systems Engineering, connecting Buildings to the national grid – this is the perfect mix for you!
About the company?
This Building Services, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering specific consultancy are now looking to complement their Midlands team with a new Power Systems Engineer with years or above of proven and similar experience in Buildings specific Power Systems.
They have 8 offices around the UK and are known as one of the best in the sector. Working in all areas of Building Services, including Sustainability, BIM and acoustics, this consultancy is in a phase of growth due to the range and number of projects they have recently secured.
Using all the latest technologies you will be equipped with all the tools you need to successfully complete your job. You will be reporting to the office Director and working alongside several different engineers. They are a team of around 20 individuals in the Leeds office and there is opportunity for you to progress into more management/senior roles in time, this company are in a phase of growth and have numerous vacancies in numerous locations.
Understanding of software packages such as ETAP IPSA+, ERACS, Amtech HV and Power Factory is required for this role, or similar packages related to either industries.

What is required from the successful Electrical Engineer?
- A building services background or proven experience in power systems.
- Able to use relevant software packages such as Revit or ETAP.
- Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering degree, ideally chartered but not essential
- Confident and versatile Engineer able to work relatively independently with minimal supervision.
- The desire to grow as an Engineer and develop your career.
