Job Description:

• Provideandnbsp;1:1 and small group supportandnbsp;for pupils withandnbsp;complex physical,andnbsp;medical, andandnbsp;learning needs
• Assist withandnbsp;personal care,andnbsp;feeding, andandnbsp;mobilityandnbsp;in aandnbsp;dignifiedandnbsp;andandnbsp;respectfulandnbsp;manner
• Useandnbsp;sensory-based strategies,andnbsp;visual aids, andandnbsp;communication toolsandnbsp;(e.g.,andnbsp;PECS,andnbsp;Makaton,andnbsp;AAC) to enhance engagement
• Work closely withandnbsp;teachers,andnbsp;therapists, andandnbsp;familiesandnbsp;to implementandnbsp;individual learning plans (ILPs)
• Foster aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;calm, andandnbsp;stimulating environmentandnbsp;that promotesandnbsp;independence,andnbsp;confidence, andandnbsp;positive behaviour

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with children or young people withandnbsp;PMLD,andnbsp;SLD, orandnbsp;complex needsandnbsp;(school or care setting)
