A pioneering manufacturing company in Kidlington, is seeking a Electrical Design and Control Systems Engineer to take charge of all electrical and controls engineering efforts across its innovative product line.This role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical design background and solid PLC programming experience (particularly in Schneider Machine Expert and CODESYS). You''ll be responsible for both enhancing existing systems and leading the development of future solutions that make industrial cleaning more sustainable.What you ll do: Lead the electrical and control systems design of bespoke machineryManage PLC programming, troubleshooting and system optimisationWork closely with engineers and contractors to deliver robust, compliant systemsSupport installations and maintenance across UK and EU client sites What you ll need: Degree or HND in Electrical, Automation or Control Systems EngineeringHands-on PLC programming experience (Ladder, FBD, ST), ideally CODESYSStrong knowledge of industrial electrical standards and safety regulationsExcellent communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills Desirable: Experience with network protocols (e.g. MQTT, Modbus), SolidWorks Electrical, or machinery automation Why join?
