My client are a top UK based construction and civil engineering contractor. Operating nationwide, delivering schemes within the energy ,transport/ infrastructure and aviation. They are looking to onboard a site manager to help deliver a new project being delivered in the North East. Site manager responsibilities: Implementing and monitoring health, safety, quality, and environmental (SHEQ) standards to ensure compliance with water industry regulations. Leading and managing site-based teams and subcontractors to drive operational excellence. Delivering projects within budget and agreed timelines while proactively managing risks and programme adjustments. Contributing to P6 planning during the design stage and ensuring site lookaheads maximise efficiency. Collaborating on the Construction Phase Plan using digital platforms to streamline operations Reviewing and ensuring compliance with contract documentation Providing accurate and timely weekly and monthly SHEQ reports. Site manager requirements: Relevant CSCS management card. SEATS (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme) or an equivalent internal course. Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
