STATIC FABRIC TECHNICIAN/MULTI TRADE

JOB OVERVIEW

Our client are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multi Trade Operative (Fabric Technician) with an Electrical Bias to carry out  maintenance works for their client on a static site located in Bexleyheath.

We are looking for a candidate who has a strong background in Facilities/Multi trade and over 5 years’ experience in a similar Facilities Maintenance -type role.

This position is Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and has no on call requirement.

JOB PURPOSE

• Conduct general building maintenance, including carpentry, painting, plastering, and basic plumbing.
• Carry out minor electrical works such as replacing lights and sockets.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
• Inspect and report on the condition of building fabrics, identifying areas requiring improvement.
• Assist with refurbishment projects, ensuring work is completed to high standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any major issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

JOB RESPONSBIITIES

• Experience in a similar fabric maintenance or building services role.
• Strong skills in carpentry, painting, decorating, and basic plumbing/electrical work.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in building maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A valid UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
