About the Role: As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Director, you will be responsible for the oversight of the department responsible for creating and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs for clients. This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities. What You''ll Do:Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.Coordinate and manage the team''s daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.Approve all playbook, and procedure changes. Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives drive program consistency and efficiency.Review operational and safety risks.
