Fabrication and Assembly operative

Fabrication and Assembly Technician Permanent - £15 to £20 per hour (depending on experience) Windsor - Free on-site parking - 7.5 hour days An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Fabrication and Assembly Technician to join a small, long-standing and friendly technical team in Windsor. This permanent position offers great stability, a supportive environment, and varied hands-on work manufacturing specialist components. Working as part of a close-knit team of three, the Fabrication and Assembly Technician will play a key role in ensuring the smooth production of products used across a range of industries. This is a physical, practical role that would suit someone with a background in assembly, fabrication, or basic mechanical engineering. Duties include: • Handling and moving products of varying weight (forklift training provided if needed) • Cutting perforated stainless steel sheets and mesh • Spot welding, drilling, and assembling items • Repacking and quality checking before despatch • Using hand tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner The ideal Fabrication and Assembly Technician will have: • Previous experience in fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, or engineering • A practical, hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail • Physical fitness, as some manual handling is required • A calm, reliable, and friendly attitude - a true team player • A sense of pride in producing quality work This is a great opportunity for a Fabrication and Assembly Technician ..... full job details .....
