We are recruiting for a Capital Management Analyst to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract.As a key member of the Capital Management team (with an emphasis on data manipulation, collation and analysis), this role will contribute to the delivery of the function’s key objectives:support the completion of actual and projected capital models, including the SandP model, BCAR model and the BSCR (Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement);consultancy support – to determine the capital implications of new initiatives, and establish proposals to maximise capital efficiency;development of tools and the performance of quantitative analysis – to aid strategic decision-making by the business; andsupport the Group Chief Corporate Finance Officer in the preparation of presentations for the Board and external stakeholders on business performance, strategy and medium to long term plans.Our Aspen Values are expected to be reflected in the delivery and performance of every role.Key Accountabilities

Contribute to the preparation and implementation of Corporate Finance strategy and plansAssist in the creation of presentations for the Board and external stakeholders on business performance and strategyAssists with the production of ROE (Return on Equity) analysis to help prioritise key growth areas for the businessAdhere to modelling and reporting rules and standards as established by the relevant Regulatory bodies and equivalent internal/external stakeholdersKnowledge, Skills, and Experience

Strong technical, quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills coupled with an enthusiasm for accuracy and attention to detailTechnical proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level) and PowerPoint is essential – including proven ability to handle data and prepare professional presentationsBachelor’s Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a numeric discipline (e.g. Maths, Finance, Science, Technology, or Engineering)Currently studying or has the desire to study for an Internationally recognized accounting (or equivalent) designation (e.g. CFA or Actuarial qualification pathways)Previous experience within the (re)insurance industry is strongly desirableExperience with capital models (e.g. working knowledge of rating-agency/regulatory models or similar stochastic/factor-based platforms), would also be a significant advantageAt Aspen we know that having a diverse and inclusive workforce is good for our people, good for our business and good for the environments in which we operate.
