Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Release Management Team, ensuring effective orchestration of release events, go/no-go checkpoints, and service restoration.Oversee the Future Schedule Planning Team, managing dependencies and integration plans for production changes.Manage complex major changes across inter-dependent components, shared infrastructure, and code deployments.Ensure modern cutover and release management practices, with a strong emphasis on automation.Drive governance controls for production releases and lead operational meetings for seamless delivery.Build strong relationships with senior leaders, operational managers, suppliers, and third-party support teams.Establish and refine operational policies, standards, and guidelines for the release management process. Tools and Technical EnvironmentThe team operates within a complex technical estate, using c, SAP, and ServiceNow (familiarity is beneficial but not essential).Over 1,000 dynamic platforms exist within this space, requiring a confident individual comfortable with complexity.Current release planning is done via Excel spreadsheets, as a previous attempt to use Plutora was unsuccessful.
