Field Support EngineerThis role is for a proactive and highly organised Field Support Engineer responsible for delivering high-quality IT support and logistics within an allocated hub-and-spoke operational model. The position requires frequent travel (approximately 90% of the time) within the area to manage and distribute end-user devices and peripherals. We have multiple locations for this role - please refer to bottom of advert.Mandatory RequirementSecurity Check (SC) Clearance is essential and must be held to be considered for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesService Delivery andamp; Incident Management:Proactively manage the ticket queue assigned to the Hub and its surrounding "Spokes" (remote locations).Ensure all tickets are appropriately updated and managed to maintain contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Logistics andamp; Asset Management:Manage Hub stock, performing accurate asset management by scanning items in and out of locations as per contract requirements.Effectively manage the disposal process for equipment handled through the Hub.Execute locker replenishments at remote sites when necessary.Technical Support andamp; Repair:Triage and perform hardware repairs on equipment that is still under warranty.Liaise directly with vendors to coordinate parts procurement and equipment returns.Process Adherence andamp; Improvement:Strictly follow all agreed processes and procedures, including those set by the Authority (site regulations) and internal company ..... full job details .....
