SEND Support AssistantDoncaster (Local Schools)We are recruiting SEND Support Assistants for specialist and mainstream schools across the Doncaster area, supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, MLD and complex needs.This is an opportunity to work within local schools, with consistency, structure and ongoing support.Responsibilities • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs • Support emotional regulation, engagement and behaviour management • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to follow support plans • Assist with classroom learning, routines and transitions • Create a calm, safe and supportive learning environmentSkills and Experiences: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, care, youth work, residential or specialist settings)Understanding of ASD, SEMH and additional learning needsConfident managing behaviour in a calm and consistent manner Strong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to follow individual education and support plansPatient, resilient and adaptable approach What we offer: Competitive daily rates £12.07 £14.43 per hour (depending on experience)Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidateOngoing support from dedicated education consultantsOpportunities to develop within a supportive school environmentValuable experience across high-quality settings ..... full job details .....
