Our client, based in Lancing, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic company within the engineering and sheet metal industry

Estimator Roles and Responsibilities:

• Meet client expectations by ensuring prompt replies to queries
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for engineering projects
• Work closely with engineers
• Understand the different types of sheet metal
• Use of CAD/ CAM software
• Maintain a database of cost histories and estimate breakdowns
• Build relationships with key contacts via phone calls and emails
• Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to ensure accurate pricing

Estimator Ideal Candidate:

• Have experience within sheet metal
• Will have a background in engineering
• Previous experience within estimating
• Be able to understand and use CAD / CAM software
