We are supporting a company based in Worthing who are recruiting for a Technical Manager on a permanent basis. This role offers full-time and part time hours (Monday to Friday, 32-40 hours per week) and paying a salary between 35k- 50k per annum (DOE). This is fully office based with free parking on-site.Duties will include:Responding promptly and professionally to inbound and outbound enquiries dealing with quality issuesManaging on-site audits and completing documentationMaintaining the QMS and document controlTraining the GMP audit requirements through the operations team and ensuring correct actions are taken and recorded when requiredEnsuring taste panel exercises are conductedCollecting samples for third party testing, following schedules and ensuring records are updated and sent to the lab when requiredResponsible for the collection and maintenance samples and swabbingOverseeing the process and suggesting improvements to help implement changes for the businessCarrying out quality checks, investigating quality issues, updating production records, and ensuring orders are labelled correctlyOrganising and attending meetings when requiredDealing with customer complaints and queries in a professional and timely mannerMonitoring returns of goods to ensure these are controlled and updated efficientlyTo be successful, you must have at least 3 years'' experience in a Technical or Quality Assurance role or similar within food manufacturing.
