Pay Rate: -16.25phr rising to-17.10 per hour when full time

Edge Staffing is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver (C+E) on behalf of our client.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established logistics operation offering consistent hours, competitive pay, and long-term stability.

Schedule & Shift Pattern

• Start Times: Between 15:00 and 19:00

• Shift Pattern: Rolling 2-week rota

• Shifts: 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

• No weekends required

• Night shift role

• Applicants must be flexible, with occasional early starts based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform local self-loading collections prior to trunking.

• Ensure accurate completion of all delivery and collection notes.

• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment (vehicle and loading area).

• Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery times.

• Load and unload roll cages and pallets as required.

• Work flexibly to accommodate varying job requirements.

Requirements

• C+E licence (held for 2+ years for insurance purposes).

• Valid digital tachograph card and CPC card.

• Maximum of 6 penalty points on driving licence.

• Confident with self-loading and unloading throughout the shift.
