Duties of the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester vacancy:

• Diagnosing vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and software
• Performing routine servicing and repairs, including brakes, suspension, and engine work
• Conducting MOT tests (where applicable) and preparing vehicles for test
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards and industry regulations
• Providing accurate reports and recommendations to customers
• Maintaining workshop tidiness and adhering to safety guidelines
• Keeping up to date with advancements in vehicle technology and repair techniques

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester in a professional environment
• An MOT licence is preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and vehicle systems
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Clean and tidy work ethic, with a maximum of three points on your driving licence
• Enthusiasm for ongoing training and career development
