Adele Carr Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and well-established accountancy practice for an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior.This role would suit a newly qualified or finalist ACCA or ICAEW professional who is looking to apply their knowledge across accounting, audit and corporation tax, while continuing to develop their career within a supportive and growing firm.The RoleAs an Audit and Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and accounting services to a varied portfolio of clients. The position will involve a combination of audit assignments and accounts preparation, along with supporting clients with technical queries and compliance matters.Approximately 50% of the role will involve working at client premises, conducting statutory audits and supporting the delivery of audit engagements.Clients are typically owner-managed businesses across a wide range of sectors, including some more complex group structures with overseas subsidiaries or parent companies and turnovers of up to £50m.Key responsibilities include:Preparing statutory accountsCompleting statutory audit assignmentsPreparing corporation tax returnsProviding professional advice and responding to client queriesCommunicating audit findings and discussing issues with clients during engagementsReviewing work completed by junior team membersSupporting and coaching junior staff membersReporting directly to Partners and Senior Managers on assignmentsYou ..... full job details .....
