As a Senior Software Engineer, youll have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions in artificial intelligence (AI) for smart infrastructure, participate in the development of new AI features contributing to MicroStation, Bentleys flagship Computer-Aided Design application used worldwide in engineering projects.This role is a key contributor to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of cutting-edge software solutions within Bentley Systems, involving collaboration with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative software applications with AI functionality.ResponsibilitiesDevelop AI/ML algorithms and models using accepted best practices.Create high-quality, well-architected, testable, and efficient code with a focus on solid technical designs.Participate in code reviews to share knowledge and improve code quality.Work primarily with: Typescript, C#, C++.Provide guidance during implementation, including code reviews, best practices enforcement, and troubleshooting.Ensure secure integration and communication between different programming languages within the architecture.Research, investigate, and fix defects and technical issues.Take ownership of your solutions, ensuring high standards of quality and scalability.QualificationsBSc or MSc in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent work experience.Experience in a product-focused software engineering environment working with Typescript.Experience with C++, C# is a plus for understanding existing products.Experience with Large Language Models, RAG, copilot systems, including Langchain, Llamaindex or similar.Ability to develop innovative AI solutions for complex challenges.At least 6+ years of software development experience.Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps practices/tools.Join a world-leading software company providing solutions for architecture, engineering, and construction.
