This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with disabilities and their families.The CWD Team is responsible for undertaking statutory assessments where there are safeguarding concerns or where a child is considered to be at risk of significant harm, with a specific focus on children with disabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of children with disabilities who have safeguarding needsUndertake Single Assessments within 35 days of referralProgress referrals received from the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of childrenProduce high-quality assessments, reports, and care plans in line with statutory guidanceMaintain accurate and timely case recordsAbout the TeamReferrals are received via the MASH team and allocated to a qualified social worker, who leads the assessment process.
