Quantity Surveyor Location: London-based (with UK-wide travel) Projects: Multiple large works projects (circa £250k), residential properties and schools Salary: Competitive (DOE £60-70k) + car allowance and other benefits Type: Full-time, Permanent / home and office working mix About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and dynamic specialist contractor team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK. While the role is London-based, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to travel nationwide as required. You will be the Quantity Surveyor responsible for multiple projects simultaneously, including large works projects valued around £250k these are residential reinstatement works and education sector projects (schools). Key Responsibilities Managing cost control and commercial performance across multiple projects Preparing cost plans, budgets, estimates, and valuations Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers Managing variations, change control, and final accounts Conducting site visits and attending progress meetings Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to contractual requirements Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders Quantity Surveyor Key Requirements Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry Experience working on large works projects (circa £250k), residential, and/or education projects Strong commercial and contractual knowledge ..... full job details .....
