Involve Recruitment are seeking an Assistant / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with experience in food retail, fit-out, refurbishment. With a strong and growing pipeline of work , our client is looking for a motivated and commercially aware QS to join their team, working under the guidance of experienced Surveyors and Senior Surveyors to support projects from pre-construction through to final account. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of cost plans, budgets, and estimates for food retail projects Support procurement activities, including tendering and contractor appointments Monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow, reporting to the lead Surveyor Assist with interim valuations, cost reporting, and final account preparation Work closely with Project Managers, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures, and commercial best practice Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards Assist in the delivery of supermarket refurbishments, rollouts, and new store developments Requirements Degree-qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Experience within food retail, fit-out, refurbishment, or new build projects (level dependent) Working knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management principles Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple ..... full job details .....
