September 15, 2025Temporary for 3 months with view to permI am currently working with a Large Tier 1 FM Business in the recruiting of a Operations Manager to oversee one of their North London sites.The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall delivery of services within their specific region. Reporting to the Head of PFI the role will be responsible for operational delivery and client relationship, compliance and risk, financial including commercial, stakeholder and people management. There will be a key focus on leading a team with the professionalism and expertise to successfully deliver the contract obligations in this field within agreed budgets. The role partners with subject matter experts for support in contract delivery such as commercial, finance, technical, SHE and HR.Track record of success in delivering complex maintenance and repair service delivery within major contractsA good leader, commercially and financially astute and with the ability to provide positive leadership and clear direction to a wide-ranging team.An experienced people manager who is emotional intelligent to adapt their leadership style and has experience of managing complex employee relations processesKnowledge and experience of the commercial and legal structure of Government contractual arrangements and CCS Framework.Knowledge and experience of managing PFI/PPP contracts in a Health, Education and Local Authority environmentIOSH Managing Safely and / or NEBOSH CertificateDemonstrative experience of successfully delivering Hard/Technical Facilities Management services at a senior management level.A high level understanding of spreadsheet and database applications.High level of administration and organisational skillsAbility to travel across multiple sites and work with conflicting deadlines
