Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for CAD Draughts Man on a 6 Month Contract, based in Stafford/ Hybrid Role Summary To produce accurate, high-quality technical drawings for substation projects (National Grid), supporting engineering teams and ensuring all deliverables meet project specifications, standards, and deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed General Arrangement (GA) drawings, layouts, schematics, and related technical documentation. Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and version control in line with project and company procedures. Interpret engineering mark-ups, specifications, and design data to produce precise drawings. Support engineering teams by updating drawings, incorporating design changes, and resolving drafting queries. Ensure all drawings comply with applicable industry, client, and company CAD standards. Assist with document control and drawing issue processes. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency. Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software. Experience working on substation, high-voltage (HV), or electrical infrastructure projects. Strong technical drawing and detailing skills. Good organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret technical information and engineering drawings.
