Working in some of the best venues and hotels in the UK, you will play an integral role in planning and preparing events, responsible for delivery and setup from small meetings to large-scale productions.Prepare, rig, and de-rig equipment prior to events within the hotel/venue and be available on-site for technical issues. Act as the main point of contact for clients to ensure expectations are met.Proactively contact clients to develop sales potential, interpret technical solutions, and arrange meetings to understand their requirements.Build and maintain a portfolio of standard set designs and visuals to help clients visualize options.Maximize sales by upselling services, increasing revenue from elements like production and video editing.Participate in discussions to recover lost business and review upcoming groups to ensure sales processes are followed.Foster good relations with sales and hotel teams, educate them on AVC services, and encourage sharing of sales leads.Develop a client database, follow up post-event for future opportunities, and gather feedback for service improvement.Manage responsibilities within budget, negotiate rates, and utilize in-house services before outsourcing. Strive to increase revenue.Build good relations with hotel staff and create development plans to improve service levels.Attend meetings with the London office, ensure effective duty execution, and create standardized information systems for equipment management and reporting.Develop dry hire shows and large events, participate in tender processes, and oversee project implementation.Build long-term client loyalty by converting one-off events into ongoing accounts and monitor competitor activities for future opportunities.Delegate technical responsibilities to on-site technicians, manage shifts effectively, and offer resources to sister hotels.What you bring with you
High School Diploma, Mathematics and English GCSE or equivalent preferred.Strong background in AV / Live events and team management.Experience in Service and Hospitality industry preferred.Experience in audio-visual or similar in educational environments beneficial.Our promise to you
