Your Healthcare CIC .The post is for HCPC registered podiatrists to join a community-focused podiatry team. Full mentorship is available and there is a protected CPD budget. The role may involve work across community and private practice settings with access to new treatment technologies.Main duties

Provide high quality evidence based podiatric care to patients with a variety of foot health needs.Manage a complex caseload independently, including high risk foot care, wound management, biomechanical assessments and nail surgery.Work collaboratively within the team and with other healthcare professionals.Support service development and clinical audit.Participate in supervision, training, quarterly one to ones and annual appraisal.What we are looking for

BSc (Hons) in Podiatry (or equivalent)Local Anaesthesia certificateCurrent HCPC registrationAn interest in working with high risk patients, including those with diabetesWilling to develop experience and skill set across the podiatry specialismsExcellent communication and organisational skillCommitment to continuous professional developmentYou will need to be a car driver and have access to a vehicleExperience

Domiciliary care provision.Diabetic patient assessment.Core podiatry assessment and treatment.Nail surgery.Desirable: Provision of high risk/ulcer treatments; Biomechanics and orthotic prescription.Skills and abilities
