Night Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Coalville
Starting Salary: £46,000 Rises to £49,000 in six months. OTE: In first year £49,000 upon passing probation
Hours: 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM (8 hour shift), Monday to Friday – No Weekends Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Easily commutable from Leicester, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Hinckley, Swadlincote Coalville, and surrounding areas

- Carrying out both planned (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
- Diagnosing and fixing faults properly — not just hitting reset
- Reading and understanding electrical schematics to guide your work
- Working closely with production to anticipate and prevent breakdowns
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and tackling recurring problems at the root
- Always putting safety first and following site policies and procedures
- NVQ Level 3 / ONC in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred)
- Confident in reading electrical schematics and diagnosing faults
- Logical thinker with a proactive approach to engineering issues
- PLC (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) knowledge is a bonus, but not essential
- Team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic
