Graduate Building Surveyor

Role Purpose As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will support the surveying team across a wide range of property-related projects, including inspections, design, refurbishment, compliance, and professional advisory work. You will gain hands-on experience while working towards chartership (MRICS), developing both technical and client-facing skills. Key Responsibilities Assist with carrying out building surveys, inspections, and defect analysis. Support preparation of condition surveys, schedules of dilapidations, and schedules of condition. Contribute to design and specification work for refurbishment, repair, and maintenance projects. Assist in preparing and managing tender documentation, including contract administration. Undertake measured surveys and produce CAD drawings where required. Provide support in preparing feasibility studies and budget estimates. Carry out health and safety assessments and ensure compliance with CDM Regulations. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Maintain accurate project documentation and contribute to report writing. Work towards RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). Requirements Qualifications and Education: RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying (or working towards completion). Interest in pursuing MRICS qualification.
