Join our friendly team in Nelson and help support adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs to live independently and achieve their goals.About the Role:As a Support Worker in our supported living service, you''ll be working closely with individuals to provide person-centred care, empowering them to build daily living skills, maintain routines, and take part in meaningful activities within the community. You''ll support people with: Attending appointments and social activities Daily living tasks such as cooking, shopping, and cleaning Managing their mental health and well-being Developing confidence, independence, and life skillsThis role includes lone working, shift work (including some evenings and weekends), and regular travel with clients - so a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential .hours can vary including 12 hour shifts, evening shifts, waking nights and sleep in shifts which will include some weekends. The houses are staffed 24 hours a day and you could be covering shifts across two shifts across two sites, one in Nelson and other in Bargoed.What We''re Looking For: Experience supporting people with learning disabilities or mental health needs (preferred but not essential - full training provided) Empathy, patience, and a commitment to person-centred care A proactive approach and the ability to work ..... full job details .....
