Position: Operations Manager
Location: South West London
Salary: £65,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday (Days)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
 
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the on-site maintenance operations at a high-profile commercial facility in South West London. This role offers a strong mix of technical oversight, team leadership, and client interaction within a well-structured and professional environment.
 
What you''ll do:

• Oversee the delivery of all hard FM services across HVAC, electrical and plumbing maintenance.
• Ensure PPMs and reactive maintenance are completed within agreed service levels and performance targets.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost-effective service delivery.
• Carry out regular site inspections and audits to maintain high operational standards.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers, supporting performance, development, and day-to-day operations.
• Promote a "right first time" approach to minimise repeat works and improve efficiency.
• Ensure safe systems of work are in place, including oversight of risk assessments and method statements.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure all documentation is updated within CAFM systems.
• Provide regular reporting on site performance, compliance, and overall service delivery.

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or senior supervisory role within facilities management or building services.
• Strong technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and general building services systems.
• Experience managing teams, contractors, and service delivery within a commercial environment.
• Good understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
