Production / brake press Operative

Location - High Wycombe

Rates from - -15 + -16 per hour

Full time role

We''re looking for a hardworking individual with a good eye for detail. These roles involve drilling, tapping, countersinking, de-burring, saw cutting and for the right candidate can lead to brake press work and fabrication.

Brake press experience would be advantageous!

Responsibilities:

- Perform the operations such as tapping, countersinking, grinding etc. as required from the details on the drawing.

- Assess your own work and query anything you are unsure on to maintain the highest standards.


- Tidy up after yourself to maintain a clean and efficient working environment.

Desirable:

- Experienced with grinders and belt sanders.

- Experienced with pillar, power and radial drills for drilling/tapping/countersinking.

- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Excellent attitude towards work quality/standards.

- Hard-working and trustworthy.

- Knowledge of stainless steel specific work is desirable but not essential.
