My client is a fast paced fintech who is keen to hire a Product Manager to take a lead/owner role on their fraud detection solutions. Responsibilities

Set the vision and roadmap – Own the product strategy for all “defend and protect” capabilities, aligning with business goals and regulatory needs.

Drive product development – Work with technical and design teams to turn ideas into high-impact features that are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Enhance fraud prevention – Implement and optimise fraud detection tools across cards, merchants, web, and apps, including real-time monitoring, red-flag alerts, and fraud metrics.

Screening and compliance – Oversee KYC/KYB checks, sanctions and PEP screening, and transaction monitoring to keep products compliant and customers safe.

Data and insights – Use data to spot trends, improve performance, and report on key metrics.

Collaborate and influence – Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and regulators to keep fraud prevention capabilities ahead of the curve.

Be the expert – Act as the go-to subject matter expert on fraud and compliance capabilities, supporting sales and product teams with your knowledge.

Qualifications

Experience – 5 years+ as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in fintech, payments, or fraud prevention.

Knowledge – Strong understanding of fraud detection, KYC/KYB processes, transaction monitoring, and regulatory compliance.

Skills – Excellent communicator, strategic thinker, and confident working with data to make decisions.

Ways of working – Familiarity with Agile practices and tools such as Jira or Confluence.

Education – Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
