Janus Henderson Investors’ Information Security team strives to be on the cutting edge of technology and on top of the latest threats. As an Information Security Architect your contribution is invaluable to the team. You will be key to ensuring our business partners follow our best practices, while designing and helping implement cutting edge cloud security solutions.Serve as the primary liaison with Information Security, the Infrastructure Cloud team, and the business.You will collaborate with security engineers performing detailed analysis'' in line with our current security standards.Work closely with key stakeholders and technical teams in building essential relationships with strong communications across the organization while ensuring our business adheres to the security standards.Document existing security architecture and relevant toolsAdvise and support cloud security initiatives.Plan, research, and design security architecture for new and existing Cloud systemsRepresent and Contribute to Architectural Governance Community of PracticeParticipate in the security solutions design and implementation for the information security team. Provide hands-on direction to develop efficient and scalable solutions that align with the company''s business objectives.Advise on mitigation for potential risks and ensure that designs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards through considering governance, compliance, and risk management.Ensure consistent administration of information security policies, standards, procedures, and controls to effectively improve security posture.Assisting developers and systems administrators in designing and evaluating secure solutionsUndertaking heightened threat modelling when requiredWhat to expect when you join our firm

3+ year of information security experience5+ years of general IT infrastructure knowledge (servers, OS, networking, etc)5+ years of infrastructure architecture experienceExperience working with various IT Teams and non-IT teams of various disciplines.The ability to assimilate complex technical challenges and provide appropriate security advice that delivers the right business outcomesPractical experience reviewing engineering designs and enhancing security solutions against company standardsNice to have skills

Any information security related certifications5+ years in IT Solution ArchitectingExperience working in Financial IndustriesWilling to Supervise if needed5+ years of information security experience
