Quality Manager
Quality Manager Location - Chelmsford Monday - Friday Free Parking Own, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001.Plan, execute, and oversee internal audits to ensure processes meet requirements and drive improvement.Lead the application of structured problem-solving methodologies to deliver quality improvements across both manufacturing and non-manufacturing functions.Define and track key quality metrics (e.g., Cost of Poor Quality) to demonstrate performance and improvement.Communicate quality improvement activities to customers and ensure alignment with customer expectations.Ensure Standard Operating Procedures remain accurate, effective, and aligned with compliance and quality-cost reduction goals.Health and SafetyDevelop and implement health and safety policies in line with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO 45001).Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate controls are in place and maintained.Lead investigations into safety incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.Coordinate and deliver safety training and awareness programmes.Maintain accurate records relating to safety incidents, training, and compliance.Foster a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement in workplace health and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the Quality team, supporting capability growth across the function.Develop and implement quality strategy, resource planning, systems, ..... full job details .....
