Learning Support Assistant - Lewisham - Secondary School - September Start

Remedy Education are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Lewisham from September. This full-time, long-term role involves working closely with students who require additional support, including those with SEN and EHCPs.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis across various subjects

• Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment

• Helping students overcome barriers to learning and promoting independence

• Monitoring progress and providing regular feedback to teaching staff

Requirements:

• Experience supporting students with SEN in a secondary school setting

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• Patient, adaptable, and committed to student development

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
