On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit someone as a Wing Design Engineer for 10 months. Role: Wing Design Engineer Pay: Up to 50 per hour via Umbrella Contract: Monday- Friday, 35 Hours per week,10 month contract Location: Filton - 60 % onsite IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: BPSSRequirements Ensure the structural design meets programme airworthiness and product requirements and in line with cascaded Design Quality Assurance CriteriaDefine, deliver and enable technical studies, trades and investigations to ensure the delivery of technical solutions in accordance to relevant Design methods and proceduresSupport identification, management and delivery of change through Mod opening, DFM release and Stage 3 Closure of Mods on time, to cost and qualityProvide design leadership of Internal and External designers within the team and ownership of Lean Engineering improvements, in particular ''Right First Time'', and Lead Time Reduction. This will be key to demonstrating design requirements within the program constraintsEnsure effective organization and governance of design and maturity reviews in line with polices, processes and practices Skillset and Experince Leading a Design or project teamLeading complex or multi value projectsAchieving delivery to Time, Cost and QualityFinding creative solutions to complex problemsRisk management and taking calculated risksAble to make or influence decisions in a complex network of stakeholders and customers enabling right ..... full job details .....
