We''re looking for a proactive and customer-focused HGV Technician to join our Aftermarket team!In this role, you''ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing refuse collection vehicles to VOSA standards, ensuring quality workmanship and excellent service delivery. You''ll work both on-site and at customer locations, carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair faults on chassis and mounted equipment.Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance with Department of Transport specifications.Carry out body and chassis repairs and complete all work to company standards.Maintain accurate records and enter job details into the DE computer systems.Liaise with customers professionally and ensure timely completion of scheduled maintenance.Adhere to all health and safety procedures and conduct risk assessments where required.Support quality assurance processes and contribute to continuous improvement. Ideal Candidate: NVQ, City and Guilds, or equivalent Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance (or time served).Proven experience in commercial vehicle repair and servicing.Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with knowledge of electronics and ..... full job details .....
