Job Description:
- Provideandnbsp;individualised supportandnbsp;to pupils with a range ofandnbsp;special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implementandnbsp;tailored learning strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;EHCP targets
- Foster aandnbsp;safe, inclusive, and nurturing environmentandnbsp;that promotesandnbsp;confidence,andnbsp;independence, andandnbsp;emotional regulation
- Support pupils in both classroom and small group settings, adapting resources and approaches as needed
- Buildandnbsp;positive relationshipsandnbsp;with pupils, staff, and families to support holistic development
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children withandnbsp;special educational needsandnbsp;(school-based experience desirable but not essential)
- Be aandnbsp;patient,andnbsp;empathetic, andandnbsp;resilientandnbsp;individual with a genuine passion for inclusive education
- Demonstrate strongandnbsp;communicationandnbsp;andandnbsp;teamworkandnbsp;skills
- Be confident in using a range ofandnbsp;intervention strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;behaviour support technique
- Be committed toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;child wellbeing, andandnbsp;ongoing professional development
