Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team, preferably with Mercedes Benz experience.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and machinery across our operations. The Mechanic will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth functioning of our equipment, to support ongoing operational efficiency. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns. Take the Lorries and trailers to MOT tests as well as PMI/Brake tests. Diagnose faults using schematics and electrical diagrams, then perform necessary repairs (STAR, XENTRY). Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, and other fabrication techniques. Repair or replace mechanical components, including assemblies and hand tools. Operate power tools safely and efficiently during maintenance tasks. Perform welding and electrical repairs to ensure machinery operates safely and effectively.
