Accounts and Audit Semi Senior
Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive and experienced Accounts and Audit Semi Senior to join our dynamic accountancy practice in Alton. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident in preparing accounts and tax returns independently, with the opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive team. Your Responsibilities: Prepare year-end accounts for a varied client base. Complete corporate tax returns. Manage your own workload and maintain strong client relationships. Involved in audit work, planning, testing and reporting. Use software for accounts and tax-related tasks. The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in an accountancy practice (essential). Ability to prepare accounts and tax returns independently. Qualified (e.g. ACA,ACCA) or part qualified/ finalist, qualified by experience. Effective time management skills and highly organised. Confident in leading and supporting junior team members as needed. Friendly and professional with the ability to communicate at all levels.
