As Head of School, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students, while upholding school policies and maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A strong background in working across a range of educational settings, including mainstream schools, Alternative Provision (AP), and special schools, showcasing flexibility and depth of experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience as part of a Senior Management Team (SMT) in at least one school, with a proven ability to contribute to achieving an Ofsted rating of Good or Outstanding within the last five years.
• The confidence, capability, and professional insight to thrive in a demanding yet fulfilling environment, serving as a strong advocate for vulnerable children and young people.
• Hands-on experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, mild learning difficulties, and trauma or attachment-related challenges.
