We''re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a strong technical background, and is excited to help shape the future of infrastructure and security at Merthyr Valleys Homes. you will provide 3rd line support, assist with major projects and act as an escalation point for team members. You''ll will build strong working relationships throughout the organisation, understanding system needs and helping deliver the correct solutions.

Our ideal candidate will embody the values of our mutual and demonstrate a strong commitment to collaborative working, ensuring the delivery of effective solutions that benefit both colleagues and the organisation. Extensive experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, coupled with a keen interest in cybersecurity, is essential. Proficiency across the Microsoft product suite-including Teams, SharePoint, Defender, and Entra-is required, along with proven capability in managing telephony systems within Microsoft Teams, ideally incorporating a Contact Centre function. The role also demands expertise in device management using Microsoft Intune, including App Management, Conditional Access, and App Protection Policies. A solid background in supporting and troubleshooting network infrastructure is vital, with knowledge of LAN, firewall, and Wi-Fi technologies; experience with Cisco Meraki would be advantageous.
