Our client based in the Fareham area is looking to recruit a Mechanical Assembler to join their teamto build and assemble masts according to bill of material instructions and supporting technical drawings.Hours:Monday Thursday 6.00am 4.00pmKey Responsibilities:To build and assemble masts according to Bill of Material instructions and supporting technical drawingsMeasure and mark out positions for fittings and fixturesMeasure and mark out positions for any necessary routering, cutting, drilling, riveting etcFit, assemble, and secure all parts according to BOM using a range of hand and power toolsRaise any issues that conflict with BOM instructionsJoin Mast sections where requiredUndertake rigging where necessaryCheck own work and othersMaintain attention to detail and qualityAssist with stock takeHealth and safety in the workplace compliance and awarenessKnowledge and Experience:Essential:Wide range of hand and power tool experienceMeasuring and marking out experienceAble to work as part of a small teamAbility to understand BOM instructions and technical drawingsExperience of assembly workBasic computer literacyBenefits:190 hours annual leave (Christmas shutdown and annual leave has to be used.)Death in service 2x salary.Met Life access to GP24 / EAP.Eyecare vouchers for Specsavers.Free parking on ..... full job details .....
