Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Drylining
Location: 4 days site based (south kensington - Kensington and Chelsea) 1 day office (Redhill)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: -35,000 - -40,000 per annum

Responsibility of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Drylining:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring commercial success across a portfolio of Drylining projects. This is a key role offering excellent development opportunities within a supportive and driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates for a variety of drylining projects

• Monitor project budgets and provide regular financial reporting

• Conduct feasibility studies and advise on project viability and cost planning

• Liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure cost-effective solutions

• Oversee procurement, tendering, and contract negotiation processes

• Develop and implement effective cost control strategies throughout project life cycles

• Maintain detailed and accurate project financial records

• Support and advise on contractual matters, claims, and dispute resolution

Requirements:

• Proven experience in cost management on construction or refurbishment projects

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• 2 years of drylining experience
