Due to continued expansion, we''re recruiting an-experienced Production Plater to join our well established client.-Your expertise will contribute significantly to our client''s mission of delivering exceptional service and quality.-

Job Duties:-

• Preparation of parts for the plating process, (Cleaning, Blasting, Masking, Jigging).-
• Preparation of plating line equipment.-
• Reviewing technical drawings.-
• Plating of parts in line with customer specifications (works order details and customer drawing).-
• Post plating treatments and finishing.
• Inspection and validation of plating.-
• Endorse production housekeeping.-
• Raise any non-conformance issues on any item as soon as they are identified.-
• Support investigation of the non-conformance process.-
• Assist in set up reduction, lean, continuous improvement activities as required.
• Adhere to time keeping and attendance procedures.
• Accident and near miss reporting processes are followed.
• Ensure shop floor data collection bookings are always correct.
• Complete all paperwork required for all orders and ensure that this is passed to the relevant department.

Requirements:-

• Plating experience is preferred but not essential.-
• Production environment experience.-
• Working with various metals.-
• Overhead Crane (desirable).-

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 6am - 4pm-

Starting Salary: -14.00 per hour + regular overtime.-

This is a Full time, Permanent position.-
