Bookkeeper

An established and expanding SME based in Eastleigh is looking to appoint a part time Bookkeeper to take ownership of a broad range of finance and administrative responsibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys variety and autonomy within a supportive and purpose-driven organisation.What will the Bookkeeper role involve? Managing day-to-day finance operations including data entry in Xero, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable. Handling monthly payroll, RTI submissions, pension compliance, and VAT returns. Monitoring cash flow and supporting quarterly and year-end financial reporting. Supporting payment tracking, debt collection, and liaising with project managers and accountants. Ensuring compliance with financial, legal, and HR regulations. Providing general office administrative support. Suitable Candidate for the Bookkeeper vacancy: Previous experience in a similar, broad finance role Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Able to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Proactive and adaptable, with strong communication skills.
