General Manager – Essex

A Food Retailer is looking for a
General Manager in Distribution .
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a Graduate calibre.
5 years experience in logistics management role.
IT literate.
Finance/Profit and Loss Management.
Project Management.
Min 3 years Manufacturing food logistics experience.
People Leadership.
Commercial Acumen.
Negotiating and Contracting.
Identifying key issues and priorities.
Leading and Managing Change.
Business English.
Achieving results in complex/ambiguous situations.
Responsibilities:
To maximise the weekly, monthly and annual performance of the site(s) by providing leadership, focusing on customer requirements, effective operational performance, a motivated workforce, and succession planning.
Working in partnership with the customer and formulating relationships within the customer network.
To integrate new working patterns in order to effect continuous improvement.
Be able to actively demonstrate effective communications with employees, Trade Unions, and the customer base.
Manage a diverse team in order to fulfill business requirements and prioritise effectively so there is no detriment to the customer targets and volumes.
Salary: 110k
