Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Male Teaching Assistant to work in a Liverpool secondary school rated ''Good'' by Ofsted. The school are looking for a Male Teaching Assistant to work with a male pupil who has been assessed, and it is felt that a male would be better suited to the child''s needs. The role is to start immediately and is a long term position. It is to work Monday - Friday , 8.20am - 3.15pm, term time only.Your role would be to :- Work under the direction and guidance of the Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator.Support the student with their academic learning as well as developing their social, emotional and mental healthEstablish a productive and supportive relationshipSet high expectations and act as a role modelSupport with the pupils'' behavioural problems and help develop their social skills The successful candidate will ideally bring with them, experience working with young people with challenging behaviour.
