Joining our South West team as a Family Time Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting children of all ages in the care of Hampshire County Council. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment that enables meaningful family time, sensitively observing contact sessions, maintaining detailed records and preparing clear, professional reports that may contribute to court proceedings. What you''ll do: Supervise and facilitate contact sessions in various settings, ensuring child safety, providing transport, and intervening if contact becomes unsafe. Manage challenging situations, including stopping contact when it is not in the child''s best interest, while maintaining a child-focused approach. Prepare for and document contacts accurately within agreed timescales, adhering to legal and policy requirements. Build effective relationships with parents, social workers, foster carers, and children, while demonstrating safeguarding awareness and reporting concerns promptly. Work collaboratively as part of a team, attending meetings, training, and complying with all relevant guidelines, legislation, and Hampshire County Council policies.
