Our thriving practice in the historic town of Ruislip, Greater London is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive team.

About usYou will be joining a friendly team made up of 4 Vets and 4 Nurses alongside 1 VCA and 3 receptionists. We hold a variety of individual interests including soft tissue surgery and internal medicine.

We are based inside the wonderful Pets at Home store in Ruislip and offer free parking for both staff and clients.

Our bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including a digital X-ray machine, Ultrasound, Multiparameter monitor, electrosurgical unit and Idexx lab machines.

What we are looking forA qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registrationIdeally you will have at least 2 years'' experience working in small animal practice and are confident to do both consult and surgeryYou will be confident in all small companion animal routine surgeries and have basic experience with exoticsWe would ideally appoint a full-time applicant working 40hrs per week over 4 daysOur weekend rota is 1:3 working Saturdays (9am-6pm) and Sundays (10am-4pm)We are also flexible to consider part time applicantsNo OOHs and no bank holidaysExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA passion for animal welfare and high-quality patient careTeam player attitude with the ability to work independently
