Directly overseeing an engineering function of around 30 including managers and engineers (plus numerous external vendors) developing tooling, infrastructure, smart contracts and decentralised applications.As part of the leadership team you''ll work closely with the Co-Founder of Tezos and have the opportunity to shape the technical roadmap, drive innovation, and ensure the robust development of our blockchain technology.Provide strategic direction and mentorship fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across the engineering functionDefine and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with the Tezos Roadmap and objectivesStay on top of emerging technologies and trends within the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, selecting technologies and tools to optimise performance and scalabilityCollaborate closely with other senior leaders including Product, Marketing and Commercial to foster strong cross-functional partnerships in the delivery of high-quality solutionsEstablish and enforce data-driven quality standards and best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and performance monitoringExtensive experience as a Senior, Staff or Principal software engineer building complex solutionsExperience leading large scale complex projects concurrently with the ability to prioritise effectively and deliver high quality solutions within deadlinesPrior experience working with Blockchain technology or passion to work in the spaceCompetitive salary with substantial incentive schemes- Hybrid working environment- Daily lunch provided in-office- 20-day policy for working abroad-25 days paid holiday plus your birthday off- Enhanced parental and adoption leave- Pension contributions double matched (up to 10%)- Private medical and travel insurance with mental health support- Life assurance (5x base salary)
